Neighborhood Health is dedicated to delivering exceptional, comprehensive healthcare for individuals and families of all sizes. Our offerings include medical examinations, laboratory testing, prescriptions, and physical assessments for individuals of every age group. We also provide interpretation services in your preferred language. Additionally, our patients have access to a 24-hour helpline and referrals to specialists.
Sexual Health Services
At Neighborhood Health, we provide various options to safeguard your sexual health.
- STI Testing & Treatment: We offer confidential testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, including chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes, syphilis, HPV, trichomoniasis, as well as different forms of hepatitis.
- PrEP: Our centers provide pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), a daily pill highly effective in preventing HIV infection.
HIV Support: We offer care and support for individuals living with HIV—including treatment that promotes viral suppression—testing, medication, and contraceptives to prevent passing HIV infection to your partner. We also provide counseling services designed to help manage the challenges associated with living with HIV.
Women’s Health and Family Planning Services
Women’s Health Services: We offer a complete spectrum of women’s health services that include screenings for breast and cervical cancer (Pap smears).What about mammograms? Referred Out for low to no cost services
Family Planning Services: Pregnancy testing and various birth control options are available. These options include long-acting reversible contraceptives (such as IUDs or hormonal implants), birth control pills, and injections.
- FREE Long-Acting Reversible Birth Control: While long-acting reversible contraceptives are effective and safe, their high cost—do not add ranging from $800 to $1,000—can be prohibitive for many women. Neighborhood Health is able to provide IUDs and implants at no cost to you. These contraceptive methods can last several years but are also easily reversible; you can conceive within the same week after removal.
- Prenatal Care: We support women throughout their pregnancy journey and postpartum period. You can choose your preferred hospital for delivery. Our patient navigators are available to assist with insurance enrollment. We also provide pediatric care for your newborn following delivery.
Pediatric Care: At Neighborhood Health, we cater to the health needs of infants, children, and adolescents. Our services encompass immunizations, physical exams, and diagnosing and managing conditions such as asthma and attention deficit disorders.
Senior Care
Neighborhood Health provides comprehensive senior care, offering a wide range of services tailored to the unique needs of older adults.

Diabetes & Hypertension Management
Neighborhood Health offers educational resources to help you better understand your condition and guidance on treatment and prescription compliance.. Our patient navigators will determine if you qualify for programs that may reduce your medication costs. We also offer a virtual care management program for patients with diabetes. This program is offered at no cost to patients and includes:
- Two registered nurse care managers who provide individualized and comprehensive diabetes education via telehealth.
- A tele-pharmacy consultation and unlimited ongoing sessions with a pharmacist.
- Flexible scheduling to improve access.
Flu Shots
Each fall, prioritize your health by taking advantage of complimentary flu vaccinations during your medical appointments. Inquire with your physician about the availability of free flu shots.
Telehealth Services
Phone / Video Visits
At Neighborhood Health, we prioritize your well-being by offering convenient phone and video visits to consult with our dedicated healthcare professionals without needing an in-person appointment. Scheduling a phone or video appointment is simple and flexible and can be set up to fit your lifestyle and get the care you need without delay.

Dental Health Services
Neighborhood Health operates dental clinics at four locations: Cleveland Park, Lebanon, Napier Place, and Welshwood. We provide emergency same-day care, including pain management assessments, x-rays, routine cleanings, extractions, fillings, partial dentures, and specialty referrals when necessary.
For children, dental health initiatives begin at age two (2). We offer sealants, fluoride treatments, and other preventive care options.
Neighborhood Health accepts most dental insurance. For uninsured patients, we offer six levels of discounts on a sliding fee scale (with each level generally having a flat fee payment).
Behavioral Health
Opioid Use Disorder Assistance
If you’re struggling with prescription medications or opioid/heroin use, Neighborhood Health offers a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program. This program combines medication and therapy with comprehensive support aimed at addressing opioid dependency issues such as withdrawal symptoms, cravings, and relapse prevention. Financial assistance may be available to help cover medication costs.

NOTE: Due to limited capacity, a waiting list is often associated with MAT services. To join the waiting list, please call us. You will be asked to provide (1) your name,(2) birthdate, and (3) a contact number.
All appointments related to MAT coordination occur through specialized treatment program professionals—our contact center cannot schedule these appointments, nor does it facilitate walk-in detoxification services within our clinics.
NOTE: Because of limited space in the program, there is usually a waiting list for MAT program services. You will need to call and give us: (1) your name, (2) birthdate, and (3) a phone number to be placed on the waiting list.
Our contact center is NOT able to set or make appointments for MAT services. All MAT services are coordinated by the treatment program specialists.
Neighborhood Health’s MAT program does NOT offer walk-in or detox type services in our clinics.

Insurance and Enrollment Assistance
Neighborhood Health has patient navigators who provide free in-person help enrolling in health insurance programs. You may qualify for health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace or TennCare. Patient navigators can also check if you qualify for patient assistance programs to help lower the cost of your medications. We can also help you re-enroll in TennCare.

Section 3202(b) of the CARES Act requires all providers such as Neighborhood Health to post the “cash price” of our COVID-19 testing on our website. This remains true even if our testing for COVID-19 is very limited. As required by this new federal law, the cash price Neighborhood Health charges for COVID-19 testing is $204.99 per test, which is in addition to any other charges for the patient visit. Patients who lack health coverage may qualify for our sliding fee scale, which gives large discounts on our fees.

Homeless Services

Neighborhood Health delivers healthcare services to individuals facing homelessness across all 12 of our facilities. Among these, we have two dedicated clinics—our Downtown and Mission clinics. These clinics concentrate specifically on addressing the needs of the homeless population.
The Downtown clinic is conveniently situated near Room at the Inn, while the Mission clinic operates within the Nashville Rescue Mission. To enhance accessibility for homeless patients, both locations offer comprehensive care without requiring appointments.
Our services include psychiatric support, case management, and transportation assistance. Additionally, our Downtown clinic features a dispensary to facilitate easy access to prescriptions for our patients. Dental care is also available. Transportation is available.
